June marks the 24th National “Workplace Safety Month” in China. During this special month, Mingtai Aluminum actively responded to the national call by organizing fire safety drills, flood prevention exercises, and comprehensive safety training activities. These initiatives have laid a solid foundation for the company’s safe production and stable operations.
To effectively address the challenges of summer severe convective weather and the flood season, Mingtai Aluminum conducted flood prevention drills across its facilities to enhance employees’ emergency response capabilities.
The drills simulated various potential hazards under extreme weather conditions, such as floodwater intrusion and warehouse fires. Emergency response teams from each plant quickly mobilized, executing rescue operations in an orderly and efficient manner according to the contingency plans.
This year’s fire safety drill focused on specialized training for firefighting equipment usage. Under the guidance of safety officers, employees systematically learned the proper operation of dry powder fire extinguishers, fire hoses, and other essential firefighting tools.
The drill was well-organized, efficient, and demonstrated strong teamwork. Employees gained hands-on experience with firefighting equipment, deepening their understanding of its functions and applications, achieving the intended training objectives.
In addition to flood and fire drills, Mingtai Aluminum organized unified safety training to strengthen employees’ safety awareness and knowledge. The training covered practical topics such as workplace safety regulations, risk classification and control, hazard identification and management, and emergency response skills.
