Mingtai Aluminum is a globally leading enterprise in the upcycled utilization of recycled aluminum. It has been recognized as a “National Manufacturing Champion in High-Performance Recycled Flat-Rolled Aluminum Alloy Materials” in China. The key technologies for upcycled applications of recycled aluminum and comprehensive utilization of secondary aluminum dross have received the Henan Provincial Scientific and Technological Achievement Certification. The company’s products have passed the “Global Recycled Standard (GRS)” certification audit and obtained the GRS 4.0 certificate.  

Aluminum is infinitely recyclable and is one of the key materials in a low-carbon circular economy. As a pioneer in the industrial application of upcycled aluminum in China, Mingtai has proactively built a green industrial ecosystem and continuously advanced its recycled aluminum strategy. The company strives to develop a circular low-carbon economy and has established a closed-loop industrial chain encompassing “raw material recycling — smelting and regeneration — deep processing.” The proportion of recycled aluminum products in its portfolio continues to increase. Dedicated to keeping aluminum in continuous circulation, Mingtai innovates and promotes collaboration relentlessly. Its annual capacity for upcycled aluminum applications has exceeded 1 million tons, reducing the aluminum processing industry’s reliance on natural resources and providing customers and consumers with high-quality, sustainably circular aluminum products.

Corporate Governance  

Mingtai Aluminum firmly believes that sound governance is essential for ensuring high-quality corporate development and protecting the rights and interests of shareholders and other stakeholders. The company continuously refines its governance standards, with a well-structured framework that ensures collaborative decision-making, supervision, and implementation. Upholding business ethics, Mingtai consistently advances risk management and information security protection. Through principled governance, the company navigates complex and dynamic business challenges, driving sustainable development.  

Adhering to international ESG board diversity governance principles, Mingtai continuously optimizes the composition of its board of directors. The board consists of seven members with diverse professional backgrounds in business management, finance, law, and other fields. All directors diligently fulfill their duties, actively promoting the orderly development of the company’s operations and ensuring sustained, healthy, and stable growth. The board includes three independent directors, one of whom is female, all bringing extensive industry experience and strong educational qualifications. Ms. Zhao Yingui, independent director and chair of the audit committee, is a senior accountant and certified public accountant. Mr. Li Shuju, independent director, is a senior partner lawyer, certified public accountant, and tax advisor. Mr. Zhou Xiaodong, independent director, holds a Ph.D. in applied economics (with a focus on corporate governance), is an associate professor (senior professional title), and serves as a master’s supervisor in accounting.

In 2024, the company organized and held:  

– 3 shareholders’ meetings, reviewing and approving 25 proposals;  

– 7 board meetings, reviewing and approving 47 proposals;  

– 6 supervisory board meetings, reviewing and approving 23 proposals.  

The board meeting attendance rate reached 100%.  

ESG Governance Structure  

Mingtai Aluminum places high importance on ESG efforts through a top-down approach. The board of directors is responsible for ESG decision-making, overall supervision, and guidance, while the management team drives implementation and enhances ESG performance. Various departments execute specific ESG tasks according to their functional roles, working together at all levels to achieve high-quality corporate sustainable development.
